Mr. Blacklock is an attorney licensed in the state of Texas, who serves as General Counsel to LehmanBush, including providing or coordinating legal and regulatory support for the Company’s operations in China, Hong Kong and in Mongolia. As part of this role, Mr. Blacklock regularly provides legal assistance and consulting services to LehmanBush clients in China and around the world. With extensive experience in the Asian business and legal environment over the past 10 years, Mr. Blacklock works with clients to develop and implement regional business strategies along with legal best practices in an international context.

Clients ranging from start-ups and small businesses to larger multinational corporations have relied on Mr. Blacklock’s recommendations in M&A transactions and due diligence, Private Equity, project finance, collateralized loans, company establishment, joint ventures, manufacturing agreements, product registration, intellectual property protection, data security and privacy law compliance and dispute resolution.

Mr. Blacklock has provided local legal assistance to a consortium of some of the world’s largest institutional lenders in finalizing financing arrangements for the largest mining project in Mongolia.

Mr. Blacklock’s experience includes helping multiple clients in dealing with legal and regulatory issues surrounding blockchain based solutions and the emerging DeFi ecosystem, including preparation of customized sector specific contracts and provision of recommendations on how to structure a project to ensure regulatory compliance. Mr. Blacklock holds a Certificate in Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and the Law from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
