Andrew Cheung

Director, Southwest China

Mr. Cheung was born in Beijing in an Indonesian Chinese family, grew up in Hong Kong. At age 23 he led multiple teams in a marketing division, formulating a series of innovative on-the-ground campaigns which blend online marketing elements, for a real estate resort marketing company, which became one of the largest in the region. He was the core planner and leader at multiple target consumer marketing, loyalty programs and membership projects and platforms. His teams have been engaged with 100+ international exhibitions, events, and triggered thousands of B2B(2C) win-win online and offline collaborations with affiliate partners throughout Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, and Eastern Europe. Some key projects achieved 100 million of annual sales volume with remarkable input vs output conversion rates.

Mr. Cheung returned to mainland China in 1998 and quickly found his passion building businesses from the ground up. Beginning in 1997, he created multiple retail, education, travel, golf membership companies and gradually transferred the ownerships. Since 2010, through various arrangements, Mr. Cheung has been a
strategy consultant, partner and advisor to many Chinese and global clients, including the Visit Scotland, VNPT Group e-travel, subsidiary of China Ministry of Commerce, China Golf Channel, Manpower Group, RIBO fashion Group, Skymax Trading Group, tech start-ups, creative & incubation parks. He spent most of his time advising in-bound China international brands, including projects in wellness, food and beverage, new retail, community, and technology projects.
